Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler had a hard-hitting match that crammed a lot of action into 15 minutes, with Baszler emerging as the first two-time NXT Women’s Champion, but that wasn’t the only big story that emerged from the bout.

The remaining two members of the MMA Four Horsewomen finally emerged from the shadows and made their presence felt, coming to Baszler’s aid and helping her win the title. Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir both got involved in Shayna’s match, with Duke’s headkick to Sane directly leading to Baszler winning back the title.

With Ronda Rousey on Raw, it might only be a matter of time before the MMA horsewomen have a real run-in (not just a backstage angle) with the WWE Four Horsewomen.
