8 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 30)

6. A Most Devious Boss

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2kKxQtYKP0 Triple H has been playing his role as a boss trying to keep his cool pretty well lately. Hunter is in the role of the former multi-time world champion now wearing a corporate suit. He can€™t just beat up an employee every time he gets pissed, and he has been trying to put that anger aside, instead using his position and power to exact revenge when necessary. When Triple H offered his hand to Roman Reigns and was rejected, he simply waited until after the championship tournament at Survivor Series ended to get his revenge, having Sheamus cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and become the new corporate champion. Monday, Hunter (and Stephanie McMahon) fired back at Reigns and his buddy Dean Ambrose, booking Roman in a world championship match that he had to win in 5:15 (the length of Roman€™s world title reign) or lose out. But he then upped the ante by putting Ambrose€™s Intercontinental Championship title shot on the line as well. (And of course, Stephanie did the same with the Usos.) Behavior like that makes Triple H look more cerebral and plotting while making him more hated by fans. It also helps that his adversaries look like they want to knock him out, not like they€™ve just been emasculated (as Stephanie€™s foils often do).
