8 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 30)

5. Must Be Dreamin€™

Sunday€™s preview column asked whether the Dudley Boyz would get the upper hand against the Wyatt Family on Raw, positing that they had to if the brothers were going to be taken seriously against the Wyatts. We got our answer Monday night, but it was a little different than expected. Whereas simply ambushing the Wyatts and putting Erick Rowan through a table would€™ve sufficed, Bubba Ray and D-Von instead laid out four tables in the ring that served as tombstones for the Wyatts (with each bearing a member€™s name). Bubba told them that the Dudleys congratulated and respected them for making a name for themselves, but that the Wyatts had painted bullseyes on themselves. This naturally drew out the Wyatts for a confrontation. However, the Dudleys had a surprise, welcoming a €œfamily€ member of their own €“ a member of the ECW family, Tommy Dreamer. The result was a raucous €œECW!€ chant from the Steel city faithful. The impromptu six-man tag match ended in a DQ quickly, but the Dudleys got their revenge when Bubba pushed Bray Wyatt off the apron through a table. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwk4SodAOuc All of this probably still leads to a tables match at the TLC PPV, but it definitely provided a pleasant surprise and added a familiar face to the mix. Perhaps another will join before it€™s all said and done?
