8 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 30)
3. Paige Preaches Truth
The more Paige is on commentary, the more comfortable she gets on the mic. Monday night, she had another turn on commentary during the Charlotte/Becky Lynch match, and she wasted no time in making sure those watching knew she was the heel in this feud. Paige immediately went after Charlottes father Ric Flair (hes like a rash (he) doesnt go away), mocked Charlotte and threatened to put announcer Byron Saxton in a submission hold on the table (which made her a heroine in some fans eyes). She also triumphantly announced that she warned Becky Lynch about Charlotte showing her true colors after the Divas Champion feigned an injury to roll Becky up for the pin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbwwKDOrLjE Between her verbal assaults on the Nature Boy and stream of insults at Charlotte and the announcers, Paige showed Monday that shes capable of handling herself on the mic and selling a feud. Does it make people want to buy a ticket to WWE? Probably not, but at least it doesnt feel like a bathroom break feud. And thats a start in the right direction.
