8 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 30)
2. Did MexAmerica Dissolve?
Unless something was mentioned on Smackdown last week, it seemed very odd to see Zeb Colter and Alberto Del Rio come out Monday without making a single reference to MexAmerica. The combined flag was gone from Zebs scooter, and their promo was devoid of any references to the fictional, fledgling nation. All that remained was Colter calling everyone in the audience haters who are too consumed with social media and have nothing but hate in (their) hearts that Del Rio needs to beat out of them. It was a bizarre left-turn promo to hear some of the same language as previous weeks, but a complete abandonment of the MexAmerica storyline. While its fair to say that the MexAmerica gimmick was a failure, abandoning it like that feels weird, especially since Del Rio is now feuding with Real American Jack Swagger. So a flag match is now out of the question, right? (It looks like we might have gotten our answer a little later in the program.)
