8 Ways Bischoff & Heyman Will Impact WWE TV

7. A Clear Difference Between Raw & SmackDown

It's no accident that WWE decided to put Heyman at the helm of Raw and Bischoff in charge of SmackDown. According to SI's report, Bisch will have a lot of dealings with officials at FOX before, during and after the blue brand's jump to that network in October. Their differences in terms of management also throw up the potential for some stylistic contrasts.

WWE have always struggled to create a true division in presentation between Raw and SmackDown. Now, they've largely given up, favouring a new 'Wild Card Rule' instead of clear brand separation. There's a chance this new management structure could change that and finally give each major show its own identity for the first time this generation.

Under Heyman, Raw should become a breeding ground for youth. Under Bischoff, SmackDown would be more in tune with the soap opera-style drama WWE like and Eric's own WCW once presented too. Could it be that both shows will have their own distinct flavours?

It's overdue, so fingers crossed.
