8 Ways Dean Ambrose Will Emerge As WrestleMania 31's Biggest Star
7. Clashing With A Returning Star
A major issue standing in the way of Ambrose's future progress is the threat of being overshadowed at 'Mania, given the potential for an incredibly stacked card. Over the past year or so, the WWE has drafted in a few massive names. Sting has understandably got people excited, as has the surprise return of The Rock, while Hulk Hogan is firmly back on board (although obviously not in a wrestling capacity). Add to this the return of inactive figures such as Bryan and Reigns, as well as the goliaths of Lesnar and Cena, and Ambrose is in danger of being one of the least popular wrestlers on the show. A solution to this perhaps rests with another potential signing - Kurt Angle. The Olympian has been linked with the WWE for a couple of months now, and surely wouldn't be able to resist a return to the limelight following his years struggling in TNA. The crowd would be molten for such a return, and the possibility of a feud with Ambrose is one worth considering. Both are renowned for their intense (often bordering on unhinged) nature and seem a good fit for one another. Although unlikely to capture as many headlines as Cena, Lesnar or Reigns in the build up, a match between the two could well go on to be the highlight of the night.
