Even wrestling fans consider it irritating when other fans talk about how best to resolve storyline inconsistencies and issues through fantasy booking: daydreaming about how this promo or that run-in will advance a feud or make for exciting television. The problem, of course, is that we all do it. We cant help it! Ive written articles which are supposed to be about one thing, and halfway through realise that Ive gotten over excited and started to fantasy book the end of the angle Im writing about. Its part of the DNA of the wrestling nerd but just like other people dont want to hear about our sexual fantasies, no one wants to read about our booking fantasies. And if our fellow fans dont want to know, just think about how unwelcome that kind of splurge is to people in the industry. Imagine working in Hollywood and constantly having to hear people blethering on about their idea for a great movie. Its like that, only (because wrestling is an insider industry) far, far more annoying for them. I know its tempting, but nip it in the bud and youre far less likely to be scorned and/or blocked.
