8 Ways WWE Can Book Kurt Angle's Return

6. A Huge Draft Pick For RAW Or SmackDown

Kurt Angle Raw
WWE/TNA

The draft itself has been announced for the July 19th edition of SmackDown, the first of the live on Tuesday night era. The show is guaranteed to be full of shocks and surprises, as the superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment will find out whether they get to wear blue or red shirts in big brand warfare matches at WrestleMania.

There are sure to be some new names (as well as some old ones) on that show, so there is always a chance that Kurt's return would be somewhat dulled if it was just one of many. Ah, who am I kidding, of course Kurt Angle returning is going to be huge, regardless of when.

If he is to return in time for the draft, he should absolutely be the show closing segment. The draft has been done. Stephanie and Shane are all but finished. Stephanie begins to gloat, just one last pick for each and only poor old Zack Ryder remains. Sorry Shane!

Except it turns out Shane-O has an ace up his sleeve, and reveals his final pick as the Olympic Gold Medallist, Kurt Angle. The place goes bonkers for their returning hero. Stephanie is in shock, but the crowd is even more shocked when Angle picks up Shane and delivers an Angle Slam to his new GM. Stephanie has herself a cancer deep in the heart of her brother's show, and that cancer is the Cyborg.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
