8 Ways WWE Dropped The Ball With The Divas Revolution

5. Making Becky Lynch A Sidekick

Becky Lynch is the most experienced wrestler out of every member of the Four Horsewomen, yet she's treated like little more than a sidekick to Charlotte. Sure, she may not be Ric Flair's daughter, but it's been proven time and time again that just because you have wrestling in your genes, that doesn't entitle you to a championship title. Take nothing away from Charlotte, she's a good athlete, but her whole gimmick since debuting has been the surname "Flair" and screaming "Woooooo" to make fans like her. Becky on the other hand was bred for the business from a young age, training under Fergal Devitt and competing in promotions across the globe, whether in Ireland, the UK, Japan or the United States. With established stars in Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Bayley already known in NXT, it took a while for fans to get behind her, but when they found out what Becky Lynch could do, she immediately became a fan favourite. For most, I think it was her NXT Women's Championship opportunity against Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover that did it. Becky is too good to be relegated as little more than a manager to the existing Champion. Even when the teams were still in full swing, she was never the centre of attention, and she deserves an opportunity to really shine as a member of the main roster before WWE allows her to fade into obscurity once and for all, like so many before her.
