8 Ways WWE Has Already F**ked Up The Divas Revolution
3. Leaving Bayley Behind
Bayley is just as ready for the main roster as Becky, Charlotte, and Sasha, and while it's understandable that Triple H needs her in Florida to anchor the women's division and help it take the next step as new faces appear, the Divas Revolution would have been so much better off with her being part of it. When you look at the ten Divas who are currently the focal point of Raw and SmackDown each week, not one of them stands out as being anywhere near what could be considered a fan-favourite. Yes, there's Sasha, but she's supposed to be a heel. The only people who care about The Bellas are kids who know no better or Total Divas fans, and while Charlotte is great and all, a lack of any sort of character development beyond being Ric Flair's daughter and saying "Wooo!" a lot has meant that she hasn't really enamoured herself to fans. Everyone else meanwhile is so poorly exposed or stuck between heel and face status that viewers really have no reason to care about them either way. Bayley could have come up to the main roster as the scrappy underdog with a chip on her shoulder and something to prove; her demeanour and personality meanwhile would instantly connect with younger and casual fans, and her abilities in the ring would have ensured everyone else takes her seriously. It's nice of course to think that Bayley will probably spend the next six months impressing in NXT and not being turned into a joke on Raw like Emma was, but this Revolution still desperately needed her.
