8 Weirdest Wrestling Matches From Every Major Promotion

1. WWE: The Undertaker Vs. The Dudley Boyz - Great American Bash 2004

Paul Bearer Paul Ellering

This abomination headlined a pay-per-view, which hands it the advantage over a billionaire torturing his daughter, in a possible cat-kicking exercise after refusing to participate in an incest storyline (Vince vs. Stephanie McMahon, No Mercy 2003).

This abomination headlined a pay-per-view in an era in which you were expected to pay a fortune for the privilege.

In a bid to use The Undertaker as his personal instrument of destruction, Paul Heyman sought to control him via the urn he... won several World Championships without. 'Taker acquiesced, reluctantly, but Heyman wasn't done. He wanted his greatness, not the urn's power, to hold control over his will, and he used the help of those d*mn Dudleys to do it. This wacky pretext informed a 'Handicap Concrete Crypt Match', and those four words in sequence somehow didn't give anybody pause.

The stipulation?

Paul Bearer dies if The Undertaker does Old School! Hot, suffocating cement thickens and chokes Bearer's throat, if 'Taker does a big boot!

Imagine the crowd's reaction to all of this, had they actually reacted.

"I like cool moves from the '90s, but I don't want anybody to die. I'm not that much like Mohammad bin Salman, jeez."

And then Bearer did die, because The Undertaker killed him, live on pay-per-view.
