7. Nick Jackson
Nick Jackson has been lowkey one of the greatest wrestlers of his generation for the last five years. It can be argued that Matt Jackson is a better in-ring worker than his brother Nick, but the younger Buck has had a phenomenal year.
His work rate is almost unmatched since the brothers turned heel back in 2020. We have seen Nick Jackson transform from a cocky yet likeable babyface into one of the most obnoxious wrestlers on the roster. It isn't just his transformation, personality-wise, that has been exciting to see. Each passing week and pay-per-view the AEW audience waits with bated breath to see what crazy outfit or hair colour he will be sporting next.
His feuds with The Lucha Brothers and Jurassic Express have been outstanding while the debut of Adam Cole at All Out in September has lit a fire underneath Nick as of late. 2022 is shaping up to be possibly an even better year for Nick Jackson and we have a whole new era ahead of us with the absence of Kenny Omega on the horizon.
