8 Worst Possible Outcomes At WWE Money In The Bank 2018

2. Roman Reigns Interrupts The MITB Match

The Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal match is rather pointless at MITB. There's no title shot on the line, and it's hardly as though Jinder is going to become the next contender for Brock Lesnar's Universal Title even if he wins; much like Bryan vs. Cass, this is nothing more than an excuse to get both on the pay-per-view.

Roman's bitching promo on Raw should tell everyone where his real focus lies. He's got an eye on the MITB match itself.

This hints there may be a run-in spot at some point in the eight-man Ladder Match, and it could be a way for Reigns to push his way back into the hunt for Lesnar. It's not hard to envision Michael Cole gushing out, "here comes the Big Dog" as someone like The Miz or Samoa Joe reaches for the briefcase.

It shouldn't happen, and not only because there's already enough star power in the MITB match. Should Reigns intrude and controversially pull down the briefcase himself, it'll nullify the purpose of having the match in the first place and only lead to yet another title shot.

No thanks.
