8 WrestleMania 32 Mistakes That Must Be Fixed At WWE Payback
5. The Tag Titles Need To Mean Something Again
One of the most baffling decisions at WrestleMania was the idea of having New Day and the League of Nations square off in non-title action. The bout was instead billed as a "battle for supremacy" (isn't every wrestling match?), which the heels won for precisely zero gain.
Logic dictates that the winner of the Tag Title Tournament will meet the New Day at Payback and - whisper it - perhaps it's time for y'boys to drop the belts.
There are a few candidates for new champs. Enzo and Cass are currently molten hot since switching to the main roster, while it would be interesting to see the Dudley Boyz given one more reign at the top. It would be most interesting, I think, for The Usos to win, bringing them in line with Roman Reigns' new arrogant, tweenerish persona.
The Usos, like Reigns, have been bland babyfaces for too long now, and such a result would definitely freshen up their act.
Regardless of the direction WWE take, this is one of the easiest 'Mania mistakes to fix, as long as they actually have the belts defended on the card.
