Pros:

In which an audacious fantasy booking pitch has mutated into a rumour, somehow; on AEW's Facebook page, a user has pitched Ted DiBiase, Jr. as the Exalted One. It's well thought-out enough to have gained traction on social media, at least. The idea is that, in kayfabe, DiBiase, Jr. has the funds to bankroll an organisation that in AEW canon has the money to broadcast paid messaging/propaganda on television. Moreover, DiBiase, Jr has a storyline connection to Vice President Cody, and a reason to feel jilted.

The idea is...feasible, in that it doesn't not make sense.

Cons:

It also makes no sense at all.

With respect to the performer, who did show promise at one point in an ultimately failed WWE run, DiBiase, Jr. has done less than nothing to prove himself outside of the WWE umbrella. It's not as if he tore up PWG subsequent to his release in a bid to prove himself; according to Cagematch, he has wrestled just five times since leaving WWE in 2013, and seems happily retired as an insurance executive.

DiBiase, Jr., a wrestling loser, is more Creeper than Exalted One, and this idea couldn't get more TNA-in-2010 unless it got stuck on top of a cage.
