Of all the potential opponents on this list, Batista would probably underwhelm me the most. The Animal has already faced Undertaker at 'Mania. That in itself doesn't render the match pointless, but he's not an intrinsic part of Taker's story in the same way as, say, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, or Kane. However, there's one massive positive that would appeal to many casual fans (as well as Vince McMahon): Batista's new-found mainstream appeal. Since featuring in Guardians of the Galaxy and most recently the James Bond movie Spectre, he has skyrocketed in the public eye. The idea of attracting The Animal back for one last 'Mania match must be playing on Vince's mind just a little.
