8. Matt Riddle

Hey, Bro.

Indy fans already know what Matt Riddle's strike-heavy style is all about, and NXT diehards are starting to grow accustomed to his mix of laid back surfer vibes and blistering, MMA-laced offence. Right now, Riddle should be a definite contender for any tournament, but it's probs too early to think about giving him the belt.

Riddle has an upcoming run at the NXT North American Championship first, and it's likely he'll be working Velveteen Dream at TakeOver: New York in April. It wouldn't be wise to steal such a match away from the show during such an uncertain time, and so Matt should enter the tourney and come up short near the end.

In fact, it might be fun to book Riddle vs. Dream in the brackets and have them wrestle out a time limit draw. That, if handled correctly, could help build anticipation towards their rematch (with Dream's title on the line) at TakeOver.
