8 Wrestlers Who Should Compete In A NXT Title Tournament

7. Keith Lee

Keith Lee's potential is untapped. In PWG, Evolve and elsewhere, Lee showed how impressive agility tacked onto a chunky, well-muscled frame can wow fans. Now he's in NXT, it's only a matter of time before he's able to show his natural, likeable personality too. This tournament could and should be the start of that.

Bring it on, big man.

Lee has become somewhat of an NXT house show stalwart over the past nine months or so. Lately, he's been trading wins with mid-carders like Kassius Ohno and Dominik Dijakovic, but that's not on TV. In other words, fans who only keep tabs on the televised product haven't seen much of what this guy has to offer yet.

A solid showing in a tournament centred around the brand's biggest title would aid Lee's cause and show the writers that he's ready for more. Although he'd likely be a first round elimination, that's fine if WWE at least attempt to weave a short story in there that'd give him more depth.
