8 Wrestlers Who Surprisingly Never Held WWE Gold
3. Bob Orton Jr.
The Orton family aren't exactly short on championship wins, Randy having clocked up 12 world titles in the decade and a half since he burst onto the WWE scene as third-generation star with a silver spoon in his mouth. He owed his start in the wrestling industry to his father, "Cowboy" Bob Orton, who himself worked under Vince McMahon for nearly a decade after joining the raft of stars who left the NWA for WWE in the early 1980s.
Whilst he didn't have quite the same star power as his son, Bob Jr. enjoyed plenty of success as a classic underhanded heel, and was even involved in the main event of the very first WrestleMania, taking the corner of Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff in their match against Hulk Hogan and Mr T. Remarkably, though, he never won a title, spending most of his WWE run putting over more marketable adversaries.
