8 Wrestlers WWE Will Sign In 2026

5. Mike Santana

To state the obvious, Mike Santana is one of those performers who is solid at every element needed to make a great pro wrestler. He's an authentic badass, smooth in the ring, and always believable on the mic. His tag team with Angel Ortiz was always received well by fans, and they have their own place in AEW history, having headlined the first Dynamite alongside Chris Jericho against The Elite.

If any doubt lingered about Santana's appeal as a solo star, his recent feud with NXT's Trick Williams blew them all away. There was a tidal wave of disappointment when he didn't win the TNA title at Slammiversary in a Triple Threat with Joe Hendry and Williams, which shows just how far he has come in a short amount of time.

If word is to be believed, Santana's qualities have not gone unnoticed by WWE's higher-ups. With Ethan Page surely set to hit WWE's main roster in 2026, NXT is going to need a veteran performer, and Mike Santana is the best man for the job. It couldn't be more deserved.
