8 Wrestlers WWE Will Sign In 2026
6. Danhausen
Danhausen is one of the most bizarre signings in the history of AEW. The 'Very Nice, Very Evil' superstar was arguably the most popular act on the independent circuit at the same time that AEW was the hottest and most credible company in professional wrestling. When he arrived on Dynamite, appearing from under the ring to put his signature curse on Adam Cole, it could and should have been a landmark moment for the company.
The reality of the situation is that Danhausen has never been given any significant attention on AEW television. He continued to sell more merch than 90% of the roster, his social media presence has always been nuclear, and yet his presence on AEW can only ever be described as minimal.
His great relationship with CM Punk adds fuel to this fire, but Danhausen signing with WWE could be one of the biggest glow-ups of recent times. He has talent, is one of wrestling's best comedy acts, and most of his act's best tricks are yet to be seen by a TV audience. Throw in WWE's enormous merchandising opportunities and elements like their recent long-term deal with Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights, and Danhausen could become one of the biggest breakout stars of 2026.
