8 Wrestlers WWE Will Sign In 2026

4. Samoa Joe

Britt Baker
AEW

There aren't many names more respected in the pro wrestling landscape than Samoa Joe. A believable world champion in almost every promotion he's worked in, a reputation for being a good guy in a world full of sharks, and a body of work that stands up against most performers from any era. All that and he still feels like he's in his peak.

Joe has been open about the fact that he is nearing the end of his wrestling career. He's been a big part of the success of the Twisted Metal TV show, and it feels as though his next contract will be the last one that he signs. That could very well be with AEW, but it wouldn't be a great surprise to see him end his career in WWE.

It is a crying shame that his main roster work in WWE was under Vince McMahon's largely woeful booking. Considering the magic he could make with superstars like Bron Breakker and Oba Femi, plus his "fight forever" feud with CM Punk, Joe is another talent who deserves a superstar send-off (no matter where that takes place).
