8 Wrestling Characters We Never Saw
4. Little Johnny
If you're like most wrestling fans, then you probably remember little about Heidenreich, the peroxide blonde-haired giant who competed in WWE in the mid-2000s, outside of the fact that he once molested Michael Cole backstage.
Long before he got intimate with everyone's least favourite Monday Night Raw commentator, though, he debuted on the main roster under the control of an unseen entity named "Little Johnny", a gimmick he had previously used down in OVW.
Unfortunately, the angle was dropped before we ever laid eyes on him, with Heidenreich sent back to the developmental before being brought up to the main roster again, this time under the tutelage of Paul Heyman, midway through the following year.
But the former Tag Team Champion - who came perilously close to being repackaged as cryogenically frozen Nazi - would later let the cat out of the bag about what all of this meant. Apparently, "Little Johnny" was supposed to be a doll that represented his inner child. Sure, why not?
