It’s our third seven-footer in a row as we take a moment to remember Kurrgan. The big man began life in The Truth Commission, before partnering with The Jackyl, becoming an Oddity, then disappearing. It was during his alliance with The Jackyl that Kurrgan began using a claw hold known as The Paralyzer to incapacitate and pin his opponents.

Kurrgan would grab his opponent by the forehead with his coffee table-sized hand, and dig into their head with his fingers. This would paralyse the opponent, presumably by preventing oxygen reaching the part of the brain that enables voluntary movement? I don’t know. I’m not a scientist. This finisher certainly wasn’t the greatest, but the paralysing effect of the claw gave a very bland hoss an added menace.
