4. ESPN Covering SummerSlam?

Rumour: ESPN may give some extra coverage to SummerSlam, much like they did for WrestleMania earlier in the year. Former WWE employee Johnathan Coachman who now works for ESPN has been pushing for them to dip their toes more into the world of wrestling. ESPN's ratings have been down, and the feeling is WWE would help slow the downward trend.

Reaction: Even though pro wrestling is not technically a "sport" by definition, it doesn't mean ESPN can't treat the WWE like a sport. It would be great if they had a half-hour show dedicated to the wrestling news of the day along with coverage of the bigger PPVs. The WWE Network was planning on doing a daily ESPN-like telecast on recent news, but that has yet to come to fruition.

Josh's work has been seen on Cageside Seats, Yahoo, and The Richest. If it's not pro wrestling, he's definitely thinking about cured meats and/or sushi, but never all three at the same time...that can get weird. Twitter: @HeelDoors
