8 WWE 2014 Storylines That Will Never Be Resolved

1. The Bella Fiasco

There aren€™t enough words in the English language to convey effectively how atrocious every aspect of this story was for everyone involved. We don€™t need to rehash all the gory details (actually, it€™s more a case of we don€™t WANT to rehash the details), but just briefly for context: We got a heel turn from Nikki Bella against her sister Brie Bella at SummerSlam, and this led to a split between the two divas. That's the core of this garbage. Specifics don't matter for this discussion. It was bad enough that everybody could see the turn coming a mile off, but what made it worse was that nobody cared in the slightest. You could hear a pin drop during any Bella segment, and in desperation for some sort of reaction Brie prostituted her husband€™s €˜yes€™ chant, even though it just gave Vince ammunition to claim that Bryan wasn€™t over as much as the chant itself was. After what felt like decades of torturous segments featuring such illustrious ring in guests like Jerry Springer and the Bella €˜brother€™ AJ (just remember this is supposed to be a €˜sports entertainment€™ show), and the single worst line of the entire year (€˜I wish you died in the womb€™) we finally got some closure on this story. http://youtu.be/oqOkrShG9Pg Well not closure as such. The WWE head honchos decided that five months of the audience revolting against this meaningless story was enough and they called an end to it by having the Bellas reunite. And that was it. Yes there was one single line from Brie when she said something along the line of €˜we are sisters€™, but this didn€™t exactly answer any questions that the audience had. Luckily this story was so atrocious and painful that most viewers didn€™t mind and were just glad they could finally move on and forget the whole thing ever happened.
