The Rumble comes around, and Goldberg looks tremendous. He enters late in the match and Spears a bunch of wrestlers out of their boots, then scores a couple of big eliminations. The crowd go wild, and with only a few guys left to enter, it looks like Goldberg is on his way to the WrestleMania 33 main event.

That’s when Brock Lesnar reappears. Still officially suspended, the Beast comes through the crowd again, but Goldberg doesn’t notice until it’s too late. Lesnar attacks from behind, tosses him over the top rope, and continues the beatdown outside the ring.

Goldberg is eliminated, but that’s secondary to Brock’s real plans. He sets Goldberg up by the Spanish announce table, but Bill recovers before he’s thrown through it. Goldberg evens the score and the two start brawling. The security guards come down again, but it’s no use: Lesnar finds his way through, hits Goldberg with an F5 outside the ring, then makes his exit.

Lesnar emerges from the segment stronger than before, but Goldberg loses very little. He’d spent the past few minutes dominating the Rumble match, and, of course, he already has the Survivor Series win in his pocket. Furthermore, the F5 on the outside gives him the impetus to keep battling Brock, and sets him up for his next move...
