8 WWE NXT Call-Ups That Will Happen After WrestleMania 35

3. Shayna Baszler

She splits opinion like no other NXT wrestler, but even those who aren't fond of her work will find it hard to disagree that there's little point in keeping Shayna Baszler in developmental any longer.

Creatively, she has done it all. The black-and-gold brand's biggest and brightest have fallen by her hand, one by one, and while you could keep her around for an Io Shirai feud, why bother? It'd only be a roadblock for one of the most effective heels in the company, who, at 38 years old, shouldn't be hanging around trainees and rookies any longer than a couple of weeks after WrestleMania 35.

Baszler would fit the main roster to a tee, stylistically. Her hard, realistic style is in vogue at the moment, with the likes of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey beating the sh*t out of each other at every juncture. Rousey's seemingly impending departure may mean missing out on a potential Horsewoman vs. Horsewoman storyline, but there are endless possibilities for a wrestler like Baszler, who projects more menace than anyone else in the division, and any other WWE Superstar not named Samoa Joe.
