8. Sheamus
Despite being the current Money in the Bank contract holder, Sheamus hasn't been having a lot of luck since climbing that ladder back and retrieving the briefcase back in June. In fact, he's on something of a losing streak, and crowds appear to be getting quieter every time he shows up (not exactly a good sign for the guy who is potentially going be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion). Had The Undertaker not returned and cost Lesnar the title at Battleground, having Sheamus cash in on him could have set up an interesting feud between the two, especially now that The Beast is a babyface. While that could still potentially happen at some point in the next ten months or so, the Celtic Warrior clashing with Lesnar definitely has a lot of potential and could do Sheamus a lot of favours. Sheamus taking it to The Beast and giving him a run for his money would help reestablish his tough guy persona and helps to set the stage for him becoming a believably dominant champion. What does Lesnar gain from this? Well, like The Big Show back in 2014, Sheamus would be the perfect opponent for Brock to take on and dominate on the way to engaging in an even bigger match a little further down the line. Brock beating Sheamus at an event like the Royal Rumble for example would have him looking stronger than ever as he heads into that rumoured rematch with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32.
