8 WWE PPVs The Undertaker Main-Evented (That He Shouldn't Have)

What should have main-evented: The Bad Guys vs. The Teamsters

In early 1994, before he took time off for injury, The Undertaker put over Yokozuna in a casket match for the WWF title. Months later, having returned, ‘Taker and Yoko went for round two in the main event of Survivor Series with another casket match, this time with Chuck Norris as referee (don't ask).

Obviously, one would be inclined to say Bret Hart and Bob Backlund in a submission match should have been the main event, but even if that were the case, it wouldn't have happened at this time. Before 1996 or so, WWE were very keen on having their PPVs have a happy ending, usually with a babyface victory, to send the crowd home satisfied.

Instead, the slot would have been better used by the opening match: Razor Ramon’s face team vs. Shawn Michaels and Diesel’s heel team. Not only did that feature Razor going over as the sole survivor, but it also featured Shawn and Diesel’s alliance breaking, thus beginning Diesel’s main event babyface push. It would have done more good for more people being in the main event than a retread of a gimmick match with Chuck Norris of all people officiating.
