8 WWE Stars Sacrificed To Make Roman Reigns Look Strong

1. Rusev

Which leaves us just the man who has been sacrificed at the mighty feet of Roman Reigns more often than anyone else. I'm talking of course about the recently-deposed United States Champion, the Bulgarian Brute, Rusev. Yes, Roman Reigns beats Rusev, end of story. Rusev doesn't even get a token dirty win in there.

To this day Rusev has only ever defeated Reigns once, and even that was just a DQ win back in 2014. When Roman needed a heel to eliminate from the Royal Rumble in no time, Rusev did the job. When Roman needed a heel to throw out last before managing to get an entire crowd to boo The Rock, Rusev did the job. When Roman needed a heel to feud with until enough time had passed and he could return to the top table? Rusev did the job, and Rusev continues to do the job.

In 2016 alone, Reigns has been victorious over Rusev in some form or another on TV or PPV seven times. Rusev has a grand total of zero victories in that time, despite being the United States Champion for a good part of the year. The damage done to Rusev in his battles with Reigns make him the biggest sacrifice of them all.

But hey, Roman does look strong, doesn't he?

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
