8 WWE Stars Who Have Rescued Their Careers

7. Naomi

Naomi deserves more credit than she often gets for going from Brodus Clay's backup dancer to one of the best female workers on SmackDown. That wasn't a given when she was shaking booty with Cameron as one of the 'Funkadactyls' between 2012-2013. Naomi could easily have been left behind.

Better female workers started hitting the main roster in 2015, and this fan believed that'd be curtains for someone who had more 'Diva' than wrestler about her. The influx of talent like Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch didn't deter Naomi though. She's spoken about that period in interviews, revealing that she relished the challenge of improving.

What a positive, refreshing attitude.

Naomi did improve. She developed her own 'Feel The Glow' character, aligned with The Usos on/off on television and visibly bettered her abilities in-ring. That hard work, determination and desire has shattered memories of her Clay days.
