8 WWE Stars Who Should Turn Heel
3. Shane McMahon
Shane-O-Mac has always been "Fun" McMahon, especially since his return to WWE last year. His strong sneaker and suit game is always a surefire sign that yeah, he's all about business, but he also has a hip-hop playlist saved on his Spotify too.
His reign on Smackdown as general manager has, for the most part, been fun as well. He comes out with his best mate, Daniel Bryan, and they deliver their little bromance patter like they've been buds since primary school. But it's time for this to end.
A feud is brewing between Shane and AJ Styles which will lead to a match at WrestleMania. A hot AJ crowd in Orlando means that Shane-O will need to play the heel role in that match, something he's no doubt used to (because he's a McMahon, dammit!).
Why not use this as a jumping off point to turn him heel, which creates conflict between him and Bryan? Sure, we've seen that kind of storyline before with the whole Authority/Yes Movement angle. But not with Bryan in a position of power and with an added "We were once friends" dynamic.
Providing this power-struggle angle doesn't detract too much from the wrestlers themselves (hell, we all know how WWE likes to do that sometimes), this brokedown bromance could add a spicy new twist to the blue brand.
