Why oh why did WWE think it was a good idea to defy their own 'Once In A Lifetime' hype and book a John Cena vs. The Rock rematch at WrestleMania XXIX? Even with the WWE Title involved, there was no need to write a rerun so soon; it was hardly as if fans were clamouring for it either. Cena's score-tying win should have been kept in reserve.

Thank God WWE had the sense to move onto the more dynamic Daniel Bryan in time for SummerSlam. Forget for a second the post-match drama which had Randy Orton cashing in MITB to align with Triple H and steal the WWE Title from Bryan, because it's the actual match between Bryan and Cena that captured the magic 'Mania XXIX lacked.

Fans were red hot for everything Daniel Bryan and so eager to see him beat an established golden child like Cena. When that happened (cleanly, no less), the Staples Center in LA went nuts with excitement. That explosion of happiness just didn't happen when Cena beat The Rock at WrestleMania to win the title himself.
