4. Rey Mysterio Vs. Seth Rollins

Wrestling's not what it used to be.

There'd have been a time where "the match can only be won when one competitor extracts an eye of their opponent" as the qualifier for a pay-per-view clash between Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio would have confirmed this contest as an icon of awful. A pillar for a legendary site like WrestleCrap.com. Shorthand for the sh*ttest sh*t that was ever sh*t.

Now? Eh. What's next month's weird sh*t?

Rey and Rollins targeted each others eyes with fairly creative weapons work that may have gone down better in front of a live crowd. Samoa Joe's orgasmic roars every time either of them did ocular damage only went so far, but the 'Samoan Submission Machine' was obviously laying the table for the biggest call of his career. He was about to be the voice of a man going half-blind.

"It's out", he said, as Mysterio allowed a prop eye to peak out from his yellow gloves. Probably not destined for the pre-show Then Now Forever package any time soon, but "it" was indeed "out". Seth Rollins threw up after the fact, borrowing that from NXT instead of the staring-at-your-hands-questioning-everything look.

That one was just for us.
