8 WWE WrestleMania 37 - Night 2 Impulse Reactions

5. Kevin Owens Vs. Sami Zayn

If there was anything left to be said about Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn somehow going back to war in 2021 - and with Logan Paul in the middle of it no less - 'KO' covered it as rain stopped play during Night One.

His impassioned history lesson was absorbing stuff, and served as an ideal accompaniment to the fun-but-fluffy stuff they'd been served on SmackDown. The match, predictably, added some stock to that.

If we were to compare nights, this served as the Cesaro/Seth Rollins equivalent, but the jobs of both Zayn and Owens had been made substantially harder by a fairly rotten start to Night Two's proceedings. You wouldn't have known from the work.

Evidently supercharged by a live crowd that wanted this to rule as much as he did, Kevin Owens arrived as if he'd been shot out of one of the pirate ship's cannons, and the match was a phenomenal sprint as a result.

They didn't leave space for melodramatic selling, instead relying on their timeless chemistry to distract Kevin Dunn from cutting back to Logan Paul at ringside. And if the fans weren't loud enough for Owens' clean win, they went berserk when he dropped Paul with a Stunner.

All of this ruled, and the show really needed it.
