9 AEW Stars Who Still Haven't Appeared On TV
4. Orange Cassidy
Despite what crusty old dads say about him and his gimmick, Orange Cassidy has been a breakout star for AEW. His completely relaxed and disinterested gimmick has popped audiences all over the world, and his Casino Battle Royale spot with Tommy Dreamer has become one of pro-wrestling's most iconic images of 2019.
And yet, he's still not had a match for the company on TV. He hasn't officially featured for them at all since the aforementioned 21 Man Casino Battle Royale all the way back in May. Yes, we've seen plenty of him, but for him to not actually be "wrestling" in that time seems bizarre. Especially given that he's worked some 40 odd independent dates since then, even wrestling fellow AEW roster members Shawn Spears, Peter Avalon and Jungle Boy in that time.
Oh, and long-term WhatCulture Office Favourite Gangrel.
Arguably his spot on Dynamite is one that doesn't necessitate actually wrestling, as his connection to Best Friends is better served in a supportive capacity. But still, given how entertaining a gimmick he possesses they'd be wise to refresh the audience's minds on it soon. And yes, Jake Hager's in a similar position and doesn't make it onto this list, but his debut segment did at least feel like it was all about him.
