How is it possible that a man who has had arguably the greatest AEW match of the TV era, is still yet to actually appear on TV for them.

On the 9th of October, Joey Janela and Kenny Omega were given some 27 minutes on AEW Dark and absolutely tore the entire roof off the building. It was frenzied, it was brutal, it was psychological, and not a single second of it felt like it was dragging. It's earned rave reviews from every single wrestler in the company and, subsequently, everyone who's since watched it.

In fact, it's been so well received that Janela's planned Dynamite debut against Jack Evans this week has been shelved in favour of a rematch. Quite what the two can hope to deliver in a sequel this soon remains to be seen, but those who missed it the first time around are in for a treat.

Either way, the whole situation shines a big light on what a strange decision it was to hold back on him for an entire month of TV. Janela demands a big stage on which to shine, and AEW could have given him it much sooner.
