The first WWE meeting between CM Punk and Daniel Bryan - arguably the internet's two favourite wrestlers of the last decade - probably deserved to place on a grander stage than that provided by Monday Night Raw, post-Rumble or not.

This dream encounter was made even more special by the fact that it also meant a clash between the company's two reigning world champions: Punk was slap-bang in the middle of his 434-day run as WWE Champion, while Bryan held the World Heavyweight strap.

One of the two would in a couple of months' time have the dubious honour of defending their belt against Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII (we won't spoil it for you, but let's just say it didn't last very long) - and so this was set up as a way for the Celtic Warrior to assess his options.

Of course, the action ended prematurely after an interference from Chris Jericho, the man who would end up facing the Straight Edge Superstar at 'Mania. We got a solid 10-minute back and forth first though, and you can't really expect them to give this one away for free in its entirety.
