Mickie James will be in the WWE Hall of Fame someday, for sure. If Torrie Wilson and Ivory are members, there's absolutely no reason why Mickie won't join them someday. James has won six top-tier titles in her two WWE runs to date, although nobody would be in the least bit surprised if she returned in the future and picked up another world title or two.

For much of her first WWE tenure, Mickie was the top star in the women's division, a ever-present in title feuds alongside Melina, Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool. The poor presentation of the division at that time doesn't leave much in the memory though, so it isn't unfair to say that her finest moment in WWE came in her first major match.

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James at WrestleMania 22 was the first women's 'Mania match in years that felt like a big deal. Trish had been on top for a while but here was the young pretender, her biggest fan, ready to knock her off her perch. Mickie picked up the victory in a fine match, one that many saw as the proverbial passing of the torch. James more than looked after the thing in the years that followed.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
