9 Biggest Liars In WWE History

9. The Boogeyman

Though Marty "Boogeyman" Wright may not be the biggest liar in pro wrestling history, he had the misfortune of lying -- and getting caught -- in front of a huge audience. In 2004, WWE aired the fourth season of Tough Enough, its reality show/competition where aspiring athletes would get the chance to become WWE Superstars. Eight finalists -- including eventual winner Daniel Puder, future WWE Champion The Miz, and Ryback -- were selected during the first day's auditions at Venice Beach, but it was Marty Wright who seemed like the standout, with an amazing physique and personality to spare. Surely, he would make a splash in the competition. Instead, Wright was caught in a lie. He was singled out in the ring and forced to reveal his age -- his real age -- to the panel of judges. Though he had claimed to be 30 years old, Wright was actually 40. The judges told him that lies would not be tolerated, and he was forced out of Tough Enough. That wasn't the end of Wright's journey, though. Proving that rules in pro wrestling are made to be broken, Wright was signed to WWE developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling and quickly called up to Smackdown, where he competed as The Boogeyman. He would remain in WWE for almost four years.
