9 Burning Questions For WWE TLC 2015

4. Which Woman Is The Face?

Quick, answer this question: Who should fans cheer in the Divas Championship match? Who should you boo? If you answered that you€™re not sure, you€™re not alone. That is the crux of the problem with WWE writers, as they€™ve created a conundrum. Paige versus Charlotte should be an easy feud to book: two former NXT Women€™s Champions, both second-generation female wrestlers, though one€™s father happens to be one of the most famous in the world and the other€™s wrestling family isn€™t nearly as well-known. Paige feels Charlotte has gotten stuff handed to her, and maybe she has, but she can back it up in the ring. The problem came when Charlotte turned into nothing more than Ric Flair€™s daughter, appropriating her dad€™s entrance music, finisher and even his trademark €œWoooo!€ There was nothing original for people to cheer, but she still was the heroine. Then WWE, sensing a problem, ramped it up by having Paige go full-on heel (despite fans still wanting to cheer her) by insulting Charlotte€™s deceased brother. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y95Yoyxl5mE Then for whatever reason, the writers realized that copying the Dirtiest Player in the Game probably should make you a heel and positioned Charlotte as a villainess too, which is probably a better fit. But does that mean that we now suddenly cheer the woman who insulted dead siblings and recently slapped senior citizen Flair? And WWE wonders why it has problems with its €œDivas Revolution.€
