3. Will Fans Walk Out On This Sheamus/Reigns Encounter?
Speaking of problems If the executives in Stamford arent worried about the exodus that took reportedly place before the main event of Raw on Monday, then they need a serious reality check. When fans leave in large numbers before the live show is over, then that tells you how little they care about the participants. And when those participants are your world champion and the guy you want to lead the company into the future, you have serious problems. Sheamus isnt tanking as champion because hes a bad performer. Hes quite capable of putting on good matches, and he can be entertaining at times. But after several months of directionless mediocrity, fans arent buying him as world champion. It doesnt help that despite being booked as a modern-day Superman, Roman Reigns is also being booked as a modern-day Lex Luger, failing to win the big one repeatedly. Thus, fans just arent invested in him either. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fPbXRTiLs8 Ask yourself this: Could Reigns talk you into buying a seat at a WWE live event? Would seeing him in action be enough for you to plunk down money? Given that the empirical evidence from fans seems to be no, you have to wonder if those in Boston will attempt to beat the rush home rather than watch Sheamus and Roman have what will probably be a good but uninspired match.
