An emotional one this. Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio went one-on-one on Monday Night RAW in November 2005, on the show that served as a dedication to the life and career of Eddie Guerrero. Latino Heat had died just days earlier, and the professional wrestling world was in a state of shock at the time. In many ways, it still is.

Mysterio and Michaels put on a great match on the show, a beautiful tribute to their friend and colleague who had recently passed away. Emotions aside, it was always fun to watch Michaels work with men smaller than him towards the end of his career, especially energetic babyfaces, as disgruntled veteran Michaels was sneakily one of the best Michaels.

Mysterio rode the wave of emotion and pin HBK in the middle of the ring following the 619 and a springboard leg drop.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
