9 Hidden Meanings Behind Outlandish WWE SummerSlam 2018 Attires

7. The New Day

The Undertaker AJ Styles
WWE/SEGA

Diving into to their video game comfort zone as usual, The New Day were at first glance a confused mix - the normal matching threads were ditched for multiple colours. Only a close up on Kofi revealed the intention - and foreshadowed the running, jumping, climbing and flying they'd need to do to try and topple the Bludgeon Brothers.

In blue and gold with rings (not, thankfully, Vince McMahon's brass ones) up his leg, Kofi is Sonic, whizzing around the perimeter. In orange next to him was Xavier, flying like Miles 'Tails' Prower with a death-defying elbow drop that almost scored them yet another Tag Team Title. Rounding out the group was Big E as Knuckles, the toughest and most durable of the gang.
