9 Hot Angles We Could See From WWE Money In The Bank 2014

6. Bad News Barrett's Injury Gets Worked Into A Positive

WWE.comWWE.comPoor Bad News Barrett. Days before his potentially career-defining moment at Money in the Bank, and he goes and separates his shoulder. In truth, the Englishman was without doubt one of the big favourites to win the briefcase and go on to (surely) become a future WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The push has been a success, and his gimmick is a resounding hit with the crowd. So if it does transpire that he will miss the ladder match due to injury, the WWE need to work it so Barrett's push continues because of the knock. Have him interfere in the match to leave his mark on Money in the Bank, before going on a huge tirade when he's fully fit to get right into the mix for a main event push. Who knows, the plans behind closed doors could have been for Barrett to actually pick up the briefcase himself. And if that is the case, why not this for a booking idea? Providing he's healthy enough to actually start the match, have him take a bump early doors that requires him to have medical attention. He disappears from the match - until the very end. He then emerges, and hits that brutal Bullhammer Elbow on whomever is at the top of the ladder - and hey presto, without barely any competing, BNB could be king of MITB. If the injury requires surgery, he disappears from our screens for a few weeks, leaving us all almost forgetting about him. Then, after a main event title match at a forthcoming pay-per-view, we hear that eponymous line from that husky English accent.. ..It could potentially create one of the biggest pops in WWE history.
