9 HUGE AEW Fyter Fest Predictions You Need To Know

8. Leva Bates Vs. Kylie Rae

Kylie Rae vs. Leva Bates hasn't officially been announced yet, so where does it come from? A poster advertising the bout tweeted out by AEW's British TV network, ITV, earlier this week.

A wise move, as Fyter Fest really needed another women's match - especially a singles clash. It's a shame that Rae vs. Bates will seemingly go down on the Buy In, though. The way AEW have booked their women so far doesn't inspire optimism for their claims of equality, even in these early days.

This could be another comedy match. Bates will be accompanied by her fellow 'Librarian,' Peter Avalon, who has developed the hots for her in recent episodes of Being the Elite/Road to Fyter. At Double or Nothing, the duo stood around backstage shhhhhh'ing at each other in the evening's least effective segment. It's a daft gimmick that doesn't jive with the company's "real sport" claims," but that doesn't mean it'll be a bust.

Rae shone in Double Or Nothing's four-way scrap with Britt Baker, Awesome Kong, and Nyla Rose. While she didn't win, she got her character over stronger than anyone else in the match with her infectious enthusiasm, babyface fire, and outstanding selling. She's going to be a major player here.

Winner: Kylie Rae.
