9 Huge Problems With Big Show Vs Shaquille O'Neal At WWE WrestleMania 33

6. The Focus Is Taken Off The Talent

If I'm not mistaken, WrestleMania is all about showcasing just how fantastic WWE can be. It's the one show every year that fans of varying interest in the product make sure they don't miss in some capacity, potentially even seeking a reason to be drawn back in. Tell me, how in the hell does Big Show vs Shaq achieve that?

If time dedicated to non-wrestling personalities in the past is anything to draw off, WWE would be sacrificing as many as 30 minutes on promos, entrances and match events for a contest that makes little to no sense. That's 30 minutes of fans' lives that they can never get back. Have mercy, Vince.

Sure, WrestleMania is a long enough show that the match could fit in seemlessly, but just because it's possible doesn't mean it should happen. Even if the main show exceeds the four-hour marker as it has done in the past, it's still a segment that takes the shine off the wrestlers who have worked their arses off just to be featured on the card.

Further than just the show, think of how much WWE programming time will be wasted hyping up this atrocity. Is taking the focus off your main focal point - the performers - really worth another one of these publicity stunts we've grown used to?

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
