2. The Last Minute Match For Network Subscribers

News broke a week ago that WWE had intentionally left most of the TLC 2019 card empty by design thanks to a new theory about gathering Network subscribers with the excitement of a few late announcements.

As well as finally justifying why some of those f*cking awful pre-show panels have even existed over the past few years, it also brought into focus just how many wrestlers didn't appear to be getting anywhere near the show. Obvious examples include Women's Champion Bayley and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, so expect one or both to have contests with rumoured rivals Lacey Evans and Braun Strowman if the organisation deem the straps worthy of breaking onto an unusually spry offering.

Though neither match has show-stealing promise, the mere idea that a WWE have a space on one of their monthly shows is quite the marvel in itself. Long may this leaner approach continue, even if there's a late addition or two.

Of course, there could be something even bigger in the works...
